He came out to bat with a positive intent smashing two sixes. However, his knock was cut shot due to a poor choice of shot on the final ball of the 69th over.

Explaining the reason behind his choice, Navdeep said that he likes the batting of Rohit. Notably, Navdeep first won a silver in the F41 javelin throw final at Paris Paralympics 2024 which was later upgraded to gold after initial winner Iran's Sadegh Beit Sayah was disqualified for repeatedly displaying an objectionable flag following a dramatic final.
