He never has a word to say about the home support being up to their knees...every second week at his beloved Ibrox, which is more offensive than booing a national anthem." John Scott, Port Glasgow , added: "Re Ally McCoist's "disappointment" with Scotland fans booing God Save The King. Why isn't he asking why the ENGLAND team is using the BRITISH national anthem? Also booing does not make a person an SNP supporter, perhaps they are just not royalists or or perhaps they are familiar with the deleted verse from the song." Gerry Campbell said: "I had to laugh at Ally's comments on the fans booing the National Anthem. I can remember the 60s and 70s when 50,000 Rangers fans would go to Scotland games and boo the National Anthem then sing Flower of Scotland before booing every Celtic player in the team."
