Jim Goodwin is baffled by managers and clubs who are still scrambling about to fill key positions at the end of the transfer window. The Aberdeen manager has done a major rebuild at Pittodrie, releasing and selling a host of players and bringing in 12 new signings, thanks to the big-money sales of Calvin Ramsay and Lewis Ferguson. Goodwin admitted he is now in a relatively relaxed position knowing the key elements of his business are done and there might be one or two ins and outs before the September 1st deadline. Goodwin confirmed: “We are talking to a few at the moment but there is no panic from our end. You tend to see a lot of teams in the last two or three days scrambling about to find key positions which always baffles me when I see that happening, especially with professional clubs when they have had so long to get their business done.
