Rio Ferdinand has vowed to quit TNT Sport if Manchester City win the treble three years in a row. In an episode of 'hot takes' on the TNT Sport social channel, the former Manchester United defender was asked to assess some predictions on the new Premier League season.

Among those was a perhaps optimistic City fan who predicted his team would win the treble not two but three years in a row. In his response, Ferdinand dismissed the suggestion out of hand, insisting he will disappear from broadcasting if that happens.

He does, however, believe Pep Guardiola's side will comfortably win the Premier League title. "No, chance, absolutely no chance," Ferdinand told TNT Sport of the prospect of a Treble Treble. "I will quit my job, go into hiding and you'll never see me again if that happens."
