Sligo Rovers and Bohemians are through to the quarter-finals of the Sports Direct FAI Cup after comfortable wins this afternoon. The Bit O' Red had recorded just one league win in 13 matches but made light work of Donegal side Bonagee United in The Showgrounds in a 11-0 scoreline.Republic of Ireland Under-19 captain Emma Doherty scored five of the goals, while Casey Howe matched that feat. The game was over as a contest inside half an hour with Doherty bagging a hat-trick and Howe a brace. The duo continue to reel off the goals in the second period before Amy Hyndman made it 11 in the closing stages on a miserable day for the Donegal outfit. In the other game Bohemians saw off Cabinteely in the Carlisle Grounds as second half strikes from Fiona Donnelly and Lisa Murphy (2) proved the difference. The Gypsies saw out a 3-0 success to join Athlone Town, Shamrock Rovers, Peamount United, Shelbourne, DLR Waves and Cork City in the last eight.
