WNBA great Sue Bird says Caitlin Clark is playoff nightmare for other teams: 'Trouble for everybody else'

The four-time WNBA champion and 13-time All-Star offered a warning to other teams in the league during a recent episode of her podcast with Megan Rapinoe, "A Touch More," saying that Clark’s dominance in her rookie year makes her a big threat in the playoffs.

And it’s really hard – it can have your head spinning."  Bird said that Clark continues to impress this season, and it's not something she expects to see trail off any time soon.  "She’s gonna break records nonstop for the next couple of years.

Caitlin Clark said she watched the endings to the two games that put the Indiana Fever into the WNBA playoffs Tuesday night then fell asleep. For one thing, it was around midnight ET. But also, Clark wasn't really surprised — even if it did end the Fever's seven-year playoff drought.
What's already been a landmark 2024 for guard Caitlin Clark got even better Wednesday, as the Indiana Fever qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2016. It ended the franchise's seven-season postseason drought that tied for the longest in WNBA history.
