Willie Borland plans to celebrate reclaiming his PDC Tour Card by taking in Rangers against Copenhagen on Tuesday. The Scottish darts stars wrote himself into World Darts Championship folklore in 2021 after becoming the first-ever player to hit a nine-darter that won a game, when defeating Bradley Brooks.
An accomplished collection of performance saw him end Qualifying School in Milton Keynes as a professional player once again.
Borland had lost his tour card but won it back after scraping his way through the opening stages of Q School before finishing strong prior to a final stage defeat against Steve Lennon.
He is going to Rangers' friendly with Copenhagen on Tuesday but is delighted that darts chiefs have changed the ProTour dates to midweek slots so he can make room for his beloved Light Blues.
