'Why another one?' - Ian Evatt drops Bolton Wanderers transfer window hint in area of squad

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has suggested that the Whites do not need another stiker in their squad this transfer window due to the forward players they already have at their disposal.

Wanderers have made three additions so far this summer. Defender Jack Iredale has joined on a permanent basis after leaving Cambridge United, while goalkeeper James Trafford and right-back Conor Bradley have signed for the season on loan from Manchester City and Liverpool respectively.

The Whites are still hoping to bring in further reinforcements before the summer transfer window concludes. Evatt hopes to make potentially one or two more additions to his squad. In terms of strikers, Wanderers have Dion Charles, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, Amadou Bakayoko and Elias Kachunga on their books. Add in Dapo Afolayan to the mix as well and when all are fit and available for selection, Evatt questioned why Wanderers need others in that position and should another player in that area be brought in, it could be harder to manage them and keep all happy.
