Many areas in Manchester city centre frequently see development projects, with new buildings and infrastructure a common sight across the area.
However, there's one major development that has slipped somewhat under the radar, with plans for 15,000 new homes and various amenities to be built in the area just north of Victoria station.
With construction currently underway in the area, named Victoria North, we want to know your thoughts on the latest project aimed at upgrading the city centre. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section. Just over £120 million has been spent on the project so far by a development company named Far East Consortium (FEC), with a further £3.88 billion set to be spent on the 20 year development.
Developers hope to bring a new primary school, tram stop, parkland, GP surgeries, and walking routes to the area alongside the homes, attracting around 35,000 people to the city centre.
