'We came together' - Gabriel Jesus opens up on Ederson 'rift' after Arsenal vs Man City

Gabriel Jesus has refuted claims he and Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson have fallen out. The two were teammates at Eastlands before Arsenal paid £45million to bring Jesus to north London last year.

Still colleagues on the international stage, the Gunners forward has been forced to downplay suggestions of a rift between the pair.

Arsenal and City went head-to-head last weekend in a fiercely contested Premier League clash. But tensions spilled over at full-time as players from both sides came together with fury. Kyle Walker and Erling Haaland clashed with Arsenal’s set-piece coach Nicolas Jover while Ederson, furious at perceived time-wasting in the dying minutes, confronted Jesus.
