The man who doesn't mind running out batters at the non-striker, Ravichandran Ashwin, looked to catch Australia batter Steve Smith off-guard on Day 3 of the second Test in New Delhi.

Ashwin, bowling to Marnus Labuchagne, didn't release the ball during the 15th over of the second innings, leaving the non-striker Smith rattled.

While no attempt to run out Smith was made, the entire incident drew an amusing reaction from the Australian batter. Even Virat Kohli, standing in the slip cordon, had a big laugh seeing what happened at the non-striker's end.

Ashwin completed his full stride of bowling but did not release the ball and the India spinner's action seemed to have rattled Smith a little. Here's the video of the incident: pic.twitter.com/hFYjAzbNSf Kohli, who was the only slip fielder at that moment, burst into laughter and started clapping as the incident unfolded.

Registering his name in the history books, Usman Khawaja created a mountain of runs as he hit 180 runs in the first innings of the 4th Test against India in Ahmedabad. The Australian batter frustrated Indian bowers for as many as 5 sessions before Axar Patel finally got the better of him. But, it wasn't all straightforward as the hosts had to make use of the DRS to get rid of Khawaja as the line-umpire's decision on the LBW appeal was in the favour of the Australian batter.

It isn't often that one sees players snacking during live games in cricket. More often than not, cricketers are spotted feasting on energy bars or bananas during drink breaks but the case for Virat Kohli was a little different on Day 1 of the 4th Test between India and Australia in Ahmedabad. Not long before Marnus Labuschagne's dismissal, Kohli was spotted munching on what seemed like an energy bar. The video is spreading like wildfire on social media, leaving fans on social media scratching their heads.
Australia bagged a nine-wicket victory over India in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, after facing big defeats in the first two matches. The visitors arrived in India with star pacer Pat Cummins leading the pack in the first two Tests. However, Cummins had to fly back home to be with his ailing mother and in his absence, team's vice-captain Steve Smith took over the reign. Smith, who was refrained from the captaincy after he was found guilty in the 2018 'sandpaper gate' incident in South Africa, was recently shown the green signal from the ICC. The batter's stint as a captain turned out to be a blessing for Australia as he guided the visitors to a big win in the third Test.
