Chelsea target Wesley Fofana ‘wants the move’ to Stamford Bridge from Leicester City this summer, according to journalist Dean Jones. The 21-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Foxes in recent days after impressing throughout his two-year stay in English football.
David Ornstein of The Athletic recently revealed that Chelsea are working on a deal to sign Fofana following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
It’s believed that Leicester value the France Under-21 international at around £85 million and are very reluctant to sanction his sale given his importance to the side.
Chelsea reportedly remain hopeful that the Midlands outfit will lower their valuation, though, meaning talks are likely to ensue for Fofana’s signature.
