India and Australia would kickstart their final leg of preparation for the T20 World Cup on Tuesday when these two teams meet in the first of the three T20Is at the PCA Stadium in Mohali.

It would be interesting to see what combination both teams go in with. Ahead of the first T20I, former India skipper Virat Kohli was seen bowling in the nets and this might be an indication that he be called upon as a bowler if any of the main bowlers are having a bad day at the office.

The Twitter handle of Punjab Cricket Association on Monday shared the photos of Kohli bowling in nets ahead of the first T20I. "Look who's opening bowling tomorrow," the handle wrote as the caption.

He finally broke the dry spell in the Asia Cup which was held earlier this year, and that was also his first T20I century.

Star batter Virat Kohli was in his vintage mode on Sunday night, when Team India took on Australia in the third and final T20I of the three-match series. Kohli smashed 63 off 48 balls and helped Team India chase down the target of 187, with six wickets in hand at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. With this win, the Rohit Sharma-led side also claimed the three-match T20I series 2-1. Team India required 11 runs off the last over, when Kohli and Hardik Pandya were on the crease and the former smashed a huge six on the first delivery of pacer Adam Zampa, before getting dismissed on the second one.
Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav batted beautifully in India's chase of 187 in the third T20I against Australia in Hyderabad on Sunday. Even after the latter fell for a destructive 69, Kohli hit a pristine six off Pat Cummins and it looked like he and Hardik Pandya would take India home comfortably. However, Australia applied the pressure and the match went to the final over with India needing 11 off the last six balls. Kohli hit a six off the first delivery of the 20th over to take the pressure off but fell the very next delivery. Hardik, however, ensured India won the match with one ball to spare.
