France star Kylian Mbappe and his club Paris-Saint Germain's relationship has soured so much that the footballer wants to leave the club, according to reports.
Mbappe signed a three-year contract extension in May to remain with dominant Ligue 1 side Paris-Saint Germain. However, a report in Marca, quoting sources familiar with the developments, has now said that Mbappe wants to end the deal and leave the club in January.
The report further stated that "the French striker would like to sign for Real Madrid, but the French club would only open the doors for him to leave for Liverpool." Last month, Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier acknowledged Kylian Mbappe's claims he has more freedom playing for France, admitting the star forward's club role is "more restricted".
Mbappe drew attention with his remarks after scoring in a 2-0 win over Austria in the UEFA Nations League as France narrowly avoided relegation from the top tier.
