Celtic assistant Harry Kewell admits he has been left baffled by Tom Rogic' s current situation. The midfielder said farewell to Parkhaed at the end of the 2021/22 campaign and is still without a club with just a few weeks left in the window.

The 29-year-old's lack of playing time could prove to be a huge blow to his hopes of featuring for Australia in the upcoming World Cup.

The attacker has already been warned by national coach Graham Arnold that his failure to secure a club could prevent him being called up for the major tournament this winter.

Earlier this summer, there were rumours that Rogic had toyed with the option of retirement. But Celtic assistant Harry Kewell simply can't understand how the former Hoops man and fellow Aussie is struggling for a move after leaving Glasgow's east end in May.
