Tom McKibbin remains in contention at the Singapore Classic after a one-under 71 leaves him two shots behind co-leaders Alejandro Del Rey and Jeung-Hun Wang ahead of the final round. At the age of 20, McKibbin is looking to become Irish golf's youngest tour winner since clubmate Rory McIlroy won the Dubai Desert Classic aged 19 in 2009.He started his third round at the Laguna National GC with four birdies in his first five holes.
However, three birdies before the turn stalled his momentum. He couldn't quite get it going on the back nine, though he did pick up another birdie on 14, either side of dropped shots on 12 and 16.McKibbin now holds a share of fourth spot in what is a crowded leaderbord.Spain's Alejandro Del Rey and Jeung-Hun Wang of South Korea both had rounds of 66 to move to 14-under par.
