TikTok warning over 'scam' texts promising jobs with 'up to £500 a day'

Since its inception in 2016, TikTok has turned the social media landscape on its head, quickly becoming a global powerhouse for shareable content and launching influential careers.

Now with a user base exceeding one billion, it's become a launchpad for entrepreneurs to kickstart their own businesses and rake in significant earnings.

So it's no surprise that scores of people would leap at an opportunity to work for such an impactful company and join the international craze.

But fans of TikTok are being warned not to fall for a scam that promises them a salary of 'up to £500' a day for 'easy to learn' work.
