Thomas Tuchel has called on his Bayern Munich players to match the "mentality, enthusiasm and hunger" that Manchester United will show in their do-or-die Champions League group stage fixture at Old Trafford.

While Bayern have already secured safe passage to the last-16 as group winners, United need a win to stand any chance of joining them in the knockout stages, while they would also need FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray to draw with each other in Denmark.

But Tuchel won't be resting any senior players after a strong squad travelled to Manchester in the wake of their 5-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Tuchel also confirmed that Harry Kane will play at Old Trafford, having been the subject of transfer interest from United in the summer. "I can understand if people say it looked a bit like this against Copenhagen, I didn’t feel it before.
