Cat Deeley became emotional when Ben Shephard revealed a video from poet Pam Ayres, who had written a special poem just for her.

Overwhelmed by the surprise, Cat was visibly moved as Pam recited the poem in a recorded video. Choked up, she expressed to Ben how much it meant to her, citing Pam as a significant part of her childhood.

In a show of support, Ben reached out and gently squeezed her hand, as she wiped away her tears and continued with the programme.

As This Moring kicked off today, Cat was taken aback by another surprise from Ben - a Colin the Caterpillar cake featuring her face on the front. "Look at this cake, it looks a bit odd," he commented, as the camera zoomed in on the personalised cake, reports the Mirror. "If it's your birthday, you get the face!" Cat said excitedly, as she shared her plans for her birthday. "Everyone was up This Morning and excited as I got up at 5.30.
