A brazen motorbike thief who called police and told them to ‘catch me if you can’ while he was hunted by cops has been caught and jailed.
Mark Fay, 29, was sentenced to 30 months in prison on Tuesday (November 21) after being found guilty for playing a role in a spate of motorbike thefts across Greater Manchester and beyond.
Fay, of Thoresway Road, Longsight, was charged with eight counts of theft of a motor vehicle offences and three counts of handling stolen goods.
While police searched for him, he contacted cops and told them to ‘catch me if you can’. He also posted videos on social media taunting police.
