With dramatic rolling hills and beautiful green valleys, the Peak District is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK.

It’s also where you’ll find a breathtaking road, which drivers have described as “stunning” and even compared it to being in a movie.

Winnats Pass is a spectacular limestone gorge, which lies west of the village of Castleton. A narrow road twists and turns between high limestone ridges, offering motorists an incredible driving experience.

It’s a challenging drive, with the road reaching a gradient of more than 28per cent in parts and even closed to buses, coaches and vehicles weighing over 7.5 tonnes.
