Terrified staff were left 'shaken' after a knifepoint robbery at a newsagents by a suspect wearing a high-visibility jacket on Tuesday morning (January 9).

At around 7.30am, police received reports that an unknown man, who was armed with a knife, had entered the store on Twinnies Road, Lacey Green, in Wilmslow.

The man threatened staff and demanded they opened the till before fleeing the scene with a black purse containing a small amount of cash.
