Taylor Swift fans have been sharing their rejoice at being invited to join the waitlist for tickets to her UK 2024 tour - only to find out they have been emailed 24 hours after they first went on sale.
The singer recently announced she will be performing 13 nights in the UK as part of her huge Eras tour. She will perform in Liverpool, London, Edinburgh and Cardiff next June.
Fans looking to buy tickets have had to register individually for each of the shows and lucky ones have been granted access to pre-sales or general sales at designated times. One fan received access to the waitlist at the singer’s three shows in Edinburgh on June 7, 8 and 9, 2024, some 24 hours after the general sale went up.
It led to them only being offered VIP package tickets from £661 - a far cry from the cheapest seats of £57. They tweeted: “So I finally got off the waitlist for Edinburgh Taylor Swift tickets and ticketmaster is just a huge scam, look how many seats are left on just one of the nights but every single one is £661 why can’t I buy one of those solo seats for £180?
