Sport Italia TV journalist Gianluigi Longari has shared a teasing Tottenham Hotspur transfer update after a meeting ‘in London’ over Nicolo Zaniolo. The Lilywhites have been repeatedly mentioned alongside the AS Roma star this summer as sporting director Fabio Paratici keeps chasing more new addition for the Premier League club.

Spurs head coach Antonio Conte has been well and truly backed already in the transfer market, with a host of new signings in Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence all putting pen to paper.

As per reports, Zaniolo has been widely tipped to potentially follow them and become yet another Paratici capture. Transfer reporter Longari has now shared his own news on Spurs’ chances of signing the Italy international.

Indeed, taking to social meda, the journalist claims that talks are well and truly ‘on’ after a meeting ‘in London’ between the Lilywhites and Roma director Tiago Pinto.
