Stuart Kettlewell vents over the worst EVER Motherwell performance as he bigs up Aberdeen FC

Frustrated Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell branded their performance against Aberdeen the 'worst' of his reign, as the Steelmen made it six games without a win.

The Fir Park side went down 4-2 to the Dons last night, with late goals from Theo Bair and Arsenal loanee Mike Biereth limiting the damage after the visitors led 4-0 through a Jamie McGrath double plus strikes from Nicky Devlin and Duk.

Kettlewell's side were joint-top of the Premiership at the start of September but their rotten run - which has yielded just one point from 18 available - leaves them ninth and four points off the bottom of the table, although three points off the top four.

And Kettlewell said Motherwell got what they deserved as the Dons dominated proceedings in North Lanarkshire. He said: “We played poorly and got everything we deserved.
