Strictly's Adam Thomas admits 'it's starting to get real' as he says 'stay positive' weeks after health diagnosis

BBC star Adam Thomas has penned an emotional message to his followers just weeks after a life-changing health diagnosis. The actor, who is set to star on this year's installment of Strictly Come Dancing, isn't one to shy away from sharing bits of his personal life with fans.

Just hours before the new Strictly trailer dropped, in which this year's full line-up was revealed, he was flooded with support on Instagram after making an admission.

Despite having been disgnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in August, Adam insists he is 'staying positive'. Posing with his kids, the 35-year-old looked upbeat, with the family full of grins.

Penning an emotional message to his followers, he said: "What day it’s been!!!! So many emotions right now, its all starting to get real!!
