Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams has confirmed 'I've gone for a man' as he responded to a negative comment about his choices for the upcoming series.

The actor and West End star is among the 15 famous faces who have signed up for the 21st series of the BBC One dance contest.

He'll join the likes of Angela Rippon, newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy, former Love Island star Zara McDermott, Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas and entertainer Les Dennis in the ballroom when the Striclty juggernaut returns later this month (September).
