Phil Foden was back to his scintillating best for Manchester City on Tuesday evening as his brace helped the Blues to a comfortable 3-0 FA Cup win over Bristol City.
Pep Guardiola's side progressed into the quarter-finals of the competition for the fifth consecutive year with a routine victory at Ashton Gate against Championship opposition, Foden's brace followed by a wonderful long-range effort from Kevin De Bruyne.
City boss Guardiola rested both Erling Haaland and Rodri but kept a strong side for the trip to Bristol, with Foden handed a rare start on the left.
The 22-year-old had been benched for the previous two games against Aston Villa and Arsenal, with the in-form Jack Grealish taking his spot.
