Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke is not expected to play next week against Washington after he suffered a thumb injury Saturday against Nebraska, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel on Sunday.

Rourke will return to the Hoosiers this season, but the timetable isn't clear yet, sources said. He did not play in the second half of the No.
