NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints have agreed to a two-year extension with running back Alvin Kamara, a source told ESPN on Tuesday, confirming a report.

The extension is worth approximately $24.5 million, the source said. Kamara was the last major contract the Saints had not restructured or addressed.

Kamara did not attend mandatory minicamp because of his contract but went through training camp as normal and said he was willing to play the season without a new deal.

Kamara has 111 carries for 438 yards and six touchdowns this season. He also has 34 receptions for 252 yards and another score.
