Shane Lowry is on the look out for a new caddie following a spilt with Brian 'Bo' Martin.Lowry's management company Horizon Sports has confirmed the news to RTÉ Sport this morning.

The split is reported to be "amicable".The move comes amid a shaky start to 2023 for Lowry, who was the only player for the victorious GB & Ireland team not to record a point at the Hero Cup and then fizzled out badly when in contention at the final round of the HSBC Abu Dhabi Championship.

He subsequently missed the cut at this weekend's Dubai Desert Classic after a second round 75.The pair first teamed up in 2018 and enjoyed a stunning 2019 season, which began with Lowry ending a long tournament drought at the Abu Dhabi Championship and culminated in a memorable Open Championship victory at Royal Portrush. The duo had further success last year, with Lowry capping a fine season with victory at the DP World Tour's flagship event, the PGA Championship at Wentworth.
