Shamrock Rovers' upcoming fixtures against relegation-threatened Cork City and FAI Cup finalists St Patrick's Athletic will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player on Monday, 23 and Friday 27 October respectively. The reigning League of Ireland champions, who have four matches remaining as they bid to win a joint record fourth title in a row, hold a four-point lead over Derry City at the top of the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division table with a game in hand on the Candystripes, while St Pat's are six points adrift of the summit. The Hoops' first game back from the international break will be on Friday, 20 October at home to Drogheda United and if they were to win that match at Tallaght Stadium and other results were to go their way, they could potentially have the opportunity to clinch the league title away at Cork in a 7.30pm kick-off.At the same time on Monday, St Pat's will be away at their 2023 Cup final opponents Bohemians, four days before the televised game at home to Shamrock Rovers that Friday with the kick-off time for the latter match moved from 7.45pm to 8pm.
