Savannah McCarthy joins Shamrock Rovers

Irish international Savannah McCarthy has become the latest player to join new WNL side Shamrock Rovers after arriving from Galway United.Áine O'Gorman became the side's first signing back in November while players like Abbie Larkin, Amanda Budden, Lia O'Leary, Aoibhe Fleming and Lauren Kelly have also been added to their squad in recent weeks.McCarthy has been out of action since last March after suffering an ACL injury in Galway United’s draw with DLR Waves."I am delighted to be joining Shamrock Rovers Football Club," McCarthy said."The chance to sign for a club with such a professional environment, a top coach and excellent facilities was an opportunity I could not turn down."I am really excited about the new challenge and looking forward to getting back on the pitch.
