Sadiq Al-lami: Man, 30, at centre of Manchester murder probe died of 'multiple stab wounds'

A man at the centre of a south Manchester murder probe died of 'multiple stab wounds,' an inquest opening has heard. Sadiq Al-lami, 30, sustained the wounds during an incident on Kingsway, Parrs Wood, East Didsbury, on January 23.

He was rushed to Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) but sadly died a short time later. Opening the inquest into his death on Tuesday morning, (February 13), area coroner Zak Golombeck said police officers on patrol found Mr Al-lami injured on the carriageway of the A34 at around 1.38am on January 23 of this year.

A forensic post mortem carried out after his death by Dr Jamie Robinson found the medical cause of death to be 1A multiple stab wounds. "I have recently received correspondence from the Crown Prosecution Service which confirms that four individuals have now been charged with the murder of Sadiq and therefore I have decided upon receipt of this correspindence to adjourn inquest proceedings pending the conclusion of the criminal proceedings," Mr Golombeck said.
