Russell Wilson: ESPN host claims Hall of Fame could be in jeopardy for Broncos QB

Russell Wilson and his potential spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame could be in jeopardy, according to one ESPN host.  When the Denver Broncos made the trade with the Seattle Seahawks for quarterback Russell Wilson this past offseason, they made a pretty big investment to try and take them forward as a franchise, sacrificing pretty much their entire future to bring the Super Bowl-winning quarterback to the Rocky Mountains.

They sent quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a 2022 fifth-round pick to the Pacific Northwest in order to secure his services in one of the biggest trades for one player that the league has seen in some time.

The belief was that after years of not being able to find someone to replace Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, the Broncos might have finally found their answer at the position and could finally make use of some of the talented players that they have at their disposal like Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy.

The reality though has been something of a disaster for both Wilson and the Broncos. The Broncos currently sit at 2-3, and the organisation as a whole has looked somewhat messy behind the scenes with head coach Nathaniel Hackett having to make changes to his coaching staff already, whilst Wilson has completed less than 60% of his passes, and has just 4 touchdowns to 3 interceptions, a fary cry from what we saw from him in Seattle.
