Roy Keane's theory on Jadon Sancho has been proved right following the Manchester United forward's performance against Liverpool on Monday night.

United were good value for their victory at Old Trafford as last season's Premier League and Champions League runners-up were comfortably second best.

Marcus Rashford would go on to score the winning goal as he broke the offside trap to fire past Alisson in the second half. However, it was Sancho who would get the ball rolling in the first half.

On 16 minutes, the former Borussia Dortmund man showed supreme confidence to receive a low Anthony Elanga cross, before wrong-footing James Milner and leaving Virgil van Dijk statue-esque to give the Reds the lead.
