Roy Keane explains Marcus Rashford improvement under new Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag

Roy Keane has recognised the improvement in Marcus Rashford since Erik ten Hag stepped into the dugout. Having undergone shoulder surgery last summer - after his Euro 2020 charge - Rashford endured a tough campaign with United to underline wider issues within the team.

Indeed, the 24-year-old netted only four goals in the Premier League as United finished a dismal sixth place and missed out on Champions League qualification.

Ten Hag was sworn in from Ajax before this season and, despite suffering defeats in his opening two matches, has rallied the troops with four straight wins.

Rashford has been instrumental in that encouraging run, too, as he closes in on his 2021/2022 tally already - with three goals and one assist from six early-season appearances.
