Ronnie O'Sullivan annihilates 'disgusting' Masters venue as superstar left ill over setting he cannot stand

Unimpressed Ronnie O'Sullivan has astonishingly laid into the Alexandra Palace and claims the host venue of The Masters is disgusting and makes him ill.

The man many regard as snooker's greatest ever player is as acerbic with his tongue as he is accurate with his cue and his latest scorched earth rant was targeted at the host venue of one of snooker's most iconic events.

It moved to the iconic London venue in 2012 and has been well received by punters and players alike. But O'Sullivan is no admirer of the setting which also houses the PDC World Championships and claims he's been left frozen and freaked out by bins in the car park.

Speaking after his quarter final victory over Barry Hawkins, O'Sullivan said: "I just don't like this place. I find it disgusting.
