Riyad Mahrez has told Manchester City he wants to stay at the club and is now close to signing a fresh three-year deal, according to an emerging report.
The Algerian has been a regular in Pep Guardiola's starting line up since his £60 million move from Leicester City in 2018. Since that transfer, Mahrez has always seemed settled in Manchester and now looks likely to extend his stay at the Premier League champions even further.
