Ricardo Santos is 'excited' at the prospect of playing with Bolton Wanderers summer signing Eoin Toal as he spoke about overcoming injury problems and is looking forward to getting into a rhythm after putting them behind him.

Toal has reinforced the defensive ranks at Wanderers this summer as one of the acquisitions Ian Evatt has made. He has joined from League of Ireland side Derry City for an undisclosed fee.

The former Northern Ireland youth teamer is yet to make his first team bow for Wanderers. However, that could change shortly and he could be given some minutes on the pitch against Crewe Alex in the Papa John's Trophy tomorrow evening.
