A crucial member of the Indian team in all three formats of the game, Jadeja provided the team with important breakthroughs in the Asia Cup Super 4 match against Sri Lanka on Tuesday.

Thanks to his two wickets in the match, Jadeja went past Irfan Pathan to become the leading wicket-taker for India in the Asia Cup in ODI formats.

Jadeja reached the milestone in the Super Four stage match against Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium on Tuesday. He took two wickets while conceding 33 runs in the match.
