Raphael Varane has called on Manchester United’s attackers to be more prolific ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Galatasaray.
United have scored just two goals in their last three league matches, although they netted three apiece against Bayern Munich in Europe and Crystal Palace in the League Cup during that period.
The Reds had 19 shots at goal in Saturday’s 1-0 Premier League loss to Palace but just four were on target. Defensive midfielder Casemiro is United’s top scorer across all competitions so far this season with four goals, the same tally United’s strikers and attackers have netted between them.
Marcus Rashford, who scored 30 last season, has only one goal in eight outings.
