Raphael Varane reveals what Christian Eriksen has brought to Manchester United

manchestereveningnews.co.uk

Raphael Varane has praised Christian Eriksen for the way he has been able to infiltrate himself into the Manchester United squad, explaining how he is “pleased” to see him at the club.

The pair face off in the Nations League on Sunday when France travel to Denmark as the world champions try to avoid relegation from Tier A.

Eriksen scored a pearler in his country’s last outing but Thursday’s 2-1 loss to Croatia means they must rely on Austria to earn a result against the Croats to go through to next summer’s finals.

It will be their last match before this winter’s World Cup and both Eriksen and Varane will be determined to gain a win to hand their side confidence ahead of the tournament.
