Rangers suffered Hampden heartache in midweek but are back at the National Stadium looking to make amends for their Champions League exit in their bid to retain the Premier Sports Cup trophy they won last season.
That would see them return to a neutral Old Lady of Mount Florida in December as they did last season when they beat Aberdeen in the final.
But today Hampden is home once again for Philippe Clement and his men with Craig Levein's St Johnstone the visitors. It's the first hurdle for the Light Blues as they were given a ticket straight to the knockout stage due to their participation in Europe.
But they went out of UEFA's premier competition at the hands of Dynamo Kyiv on Wednesday and return to Glasgow's south side for knockout cup action.
