Rangers to face Champions League cauldron as Servette sell out stadium for first time in 20 YEARS

Rangers are to face a Champions League cauldron against Servette as they sold out their stadium for the first time in over two decades.

Rangers will face the Swiss side in the third qualifying round after they stunned favourites Genk this week in an entertaining tie, winning on penalties despite having to play 117 minutes with ten men.

Michael Beale's side will be primed and ready for the crucial trip Geneva for the second leg a week on Tuesday. And the lure of the Light Blues is so much that tickets for the clash sold out in less than a day for the return leg at the 30,084 capacity Stade de Geneve.

That's a record for Servette who opened their stadium in 2003, and the full house signs went up for Servette's game against Young Boys.
