Queues for miles on M4 after two crashes - live updates

There are miles of queues on the M4 between Swansea and Port Talbot on both the eastbound and westbound carriageways on Friday afternoon.

The M4 eastbound exit slip road is shut around Junction 45 A4067 (Ynysforgan), according to traffic monitoring service Inrix.

Police are currently on the scene, according to Traffic Wales, and there is queuing traffic from Junction 45 to Junction 47.There are also currently queues on the westbound carriageway for miles, stretching from Junction 45 (Ynysforgan, Swansea) to Junction 40 (Margam, Port Talbot), according to Google Maps.

One lane of the westbound carriageway was blocked between Junction 45 Ynysforgan and Junction 46 Llangyfelach after another crash.
