Police have released a CCTV picture of a man they want to speak to after a woman was 'spiked with a needle' in a pub in Heywood.

Officers launched an investigation following reports of a spiking at the Dressers Arms pub on Friday night (August 4). The victim was approached by an unknown man at the bar and later started to feel 'dizzy and ill', police said.

The next morning, she noticed an 'unexplained mark' on her thigh that police say 'resembled an injection mark from a needle'.

Police released a description of a man they want to speak to about the incident, describing him as a black male, approximately mid 20s, of slim build with short black hair who was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
