Five schoolboys were arrested after an attack and robbery near a bus station in Bury. Police said officers on patrol at Bury Interchange were approached by two boys at around 7pm last night (Wednesday) who said they had been attacked.
The pair said five boys assaulted them. One had some of his property stolen, police said. CCTV was reviewed in the area and descriptions were provided of the suspects.

A post on the GMP Bury North Facebook page this morning said: "#GMPTransportUnit officers on foot patrol at Bury Interchange at 7PM were approached by two juveniles who reported that they had been assaulted by 5 males, and one of which had property stolen from them. "CCTV operator's from Bury Council reviewed their footage and supported officers by providing descriptions of the persons involved in the incident.
