Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Neymar sprained his ankle and suffered ligament damage in their dramatic 4-3 victory over Lille on Sunday.

The French champions confirmed the news in a statement after the Brazilian went down after a challenge from Benjamin Andre. Ad Neymar went over on his ankle following a tackle by the Lille captain and was subsequently stretchered off the pitch at the Parc des Princes.
