Netflix fans say 'best day ever' as all seasons of classic 00s teen drama added to site

Netflix fans are celebrating after a classic noughties teen drama was added to the platform on Thursday (July 6). All six seasons of Gossip Girl are now available to stream, meaning viewers can revisit all the melodrama of New York's Constance Billard School for Girls.

The show follows a group of upper-class high schoolers whose lives are being watched - and often ruined - by an all-seeing blogger known only as 'Gossip Girl.'  Leighton Meester stars as Blair Waldorf, Blake Lively plays Serena van der Woodsen and Kristen Bell is the voice of Gossip Girl, who narrates the drama.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Netflix UK announced another teen drama would be added to the site alongside Gossip Girl. The streaming giant said: "NEW: All seasons of Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries are back on Netflix UK/IE!
